Read the following passage carefully then answer the questions that follow it.
Sudan is one of the richest countries in Wildlife in Africa . This animal wealth belong to all Sudanese people , and it's our duty to protect and preserve it . In the past , people were allowed to hunt animals for food . They used traditional weapons such as spears , arrows and nets . But this method of hunting didn't affect the number of animals because the a mount they killed was limited . But when firearms were later introduced , specially by those hunting for commercial purposes , animals were killed in great numbers and some species became threatened with extinction . That was why the government established the Department of Wildlife Conservation and Tourism to protect animals .
In some parts of the Sudan , there are several game parks and forest reserves where no one may hunt and kill a wild animal , One of the famous parks in the Sudan is Nimule National Park . It is south of Juba on the border with Uganda . National Parks can bring income to our country . Tourist come from various countries to Sudan to see different species of animals which are not found in their country . They bring with them money in hard currency to spend while they are in the Sudan . We need this money to improve our economy .

If used properly forest resources can lead to the development of the land and improvement in living standard for the people . Forest supply us with timber for building , firewood , fruit , nuts and Gum Arabic . Trees are a source of fodder for cattle and a source of certain substances for medicine . The harvesting and processing of forest products creates employment , brings income and hard currency . This money can be spent to buy more and better food .
Trees can protect the environment by reducing erosion and making the soil rich . The strong roots of the trees and the shelter of the leaves stop the soil from being blown a way by the wind .
